UH pitcher Daly named freshman All-American

Hawai'i pitcher Matt Daly was named to the Louisville Slugger's Freshman All-American team, Collegiate Baseball newspaper announced Thursday.Daly went 6-2 with a 3.25 earned run average. He had 52 strikeouts to 26 walks in 52 2/3 innings for the Rainbows. He was one of six relief pitchers listed and one of three players from the Western Athletic Conference selected.
