Traffic moving well on all roads into town

Advertiser Staff

Town-bound traffic is moving along very well at this hour on all six major corridors leading to downtown Honolulu.

The one sticking point of the morning so far was a collision reported inside the tunnel of the town-bound lanes of the H-3 Freeway.

The crash was reported to police about 6:20 a.m. but had been cleared away by 7 a.m. and no backlog remains.

Traffic heading in from Hawai'i Kai begins to slow a bit past the Old Wai'alae Road overpass but is still moving well for this hour.

Even the Middle Street merge is not causing a backup, which is unusual at this time of day.
