Fire damages abandoned Kalihi building

Fire damaged an abandoned building in Kalihi this morning but did not result in any injuries.The fire was reported about 7:20 a.m. at the corner of North King Street and Kamehameha IV Road.
A second-alarm was issued for the fire but was rescinded after it was clear that the fire was well under control.
No damage estimate is available since the building and shed that burned appeared to be abandoned.
The cause of the blaze has not yet been determined.
