Acclaimed vocalist Michael Bublé plans Hawai'i concerts

Advertiser staff

Vocalist Michael Bublé has announced plans to bring his "It's Time" world tour to Hawai'i in two shows — 8 p.m. July 28 at the Blaisdell Arena and 7:30 p.m. July 29 at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center.

Critics have pronounced Bublé (pronounced boo-BLAY) the cool king of the moment, a proponent of songbooks a la Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Ray Charles and even Van Morrison.

He has sold more than 10 million albums worldwide.

Tickets — $45, $55 and $65 — go on sale June 17 at the Blaisdell and MACC box offices, at Ticketmaster outlets and ticketmaster.com for the O'ahu show, and at mauiarts.org and (808) 242-7469 for the Maui show.
