THREE FROM THE BARD

The Hawaii Shakespeare Festival kicks off July 7 with the comic romance "Much Ado About Nothing," followed by the historical drama "Antony and Cleopatra" July 15 and the outrageous "Comedy of Errors" July 22. Each runs for two weeks at the Earle Ernst Theatre of the University of Hawai'i-Manoa.

R. Kevin Doyle directs "Much Ado"; Harry Wong III directs "Antony"; and Tony Pisculli directs "Comedy."

BAYFEST IN JULY

BayFest returns to the Marine Corps Base Hawai'i in Kane'ohe with five days of entertainment, fireworks, contests, rides and displays. The entertainment headliners:
