If the First Friday Gallery Walk is too much of a scene for you these days, try Second Saturday, when you can see art in the light of day, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. tomorrow. Hit the galleries for the latest exhibitions. (Didja know Mazie Hirono paints? Go to Louis Pohl Gallery).

Also slated: NextDoor's Summer Cinema Series at 5 p.m. and sidewalk sales on Nu'uanu Avenue and Bethel Street (mauka of Pauahi Street). Parking tip: $3 all day at municipal lot on Beretania Street, between Nu'uanu and Smith.

'PRAIRIE HOME COMPANION' RETURNS

The Robert Altman movie is out, and in November you can see the real thing — yes, Garrison Keillor and his "A Prairie Home Companion" return to the Blaisdell Concert Hall. Tickets to the live performance go on sale at 9 a.m. today.

The event marks the grand finale of Hawaii Public Radio's 25th anniversary season. Keillor's full cast will be in tow — radio actors Tim Russell and Sue Scott, the Guys' All-Star Shoe Band and sound-effects man Fred Newman. Performances: 12:45 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Nov. 11.

Tickets are $55, $45, $35 and $15 at the Blaisdell box office, Ticketmaster (1-877-750-4400, www.ticketmaster.com), and Times Supermarket stores.
