GEORGE GUTIERREZ JR. has been named associate at the structural engineering firm of Nagamine Okawa Engineers Inc. His responsibilities include project management and business development. Previously, he was a project engineer.

Finance Factors has reassigned senior loan officers JEFFERSON "JEFF" UYEDA and ROBIN KAGIMOTO to its Kalihi and Kahala branches.
Securitas Security Services USA, a world leader in security services, recently named Sanj Sappal as vice president of its Honolulu based operations. He was previously general manager, specialty division, for HBM/UNICCO.
M. Dyer & Sons has hired JEANNIE MANE as outbound shipping coordinator. In her new role she will manage all moves, including client and service provider coordination and documentation of shipments leaving O'ahu.
Watson Wyatt Worldwide, a leading human capital consulting firm, has named Karen Francis managing consultant of its Honolulu office, replacing Betty Berni, who is retiring.
SSFM International has appointed Eric Matsuda as vice president in charge of their Maui office.
Joe Carmona has been named restaurant operations manager for the OHANA Waikiki Beachcomber hotel. He oversees the daily operations of the hotel's restaurant and showroom operations.
Blair Collis has been named vice president in the sales and marketing department of Bishop Museum. Also, Wes Chong has been named director of sales; NAOKO KOMIYA will be Asia Pacific marketing manager; Patti-Jo Chong has been named marketing and public relations director; and Ron Cox has been named press manager.
