Breezy trades to continue through tomorrow

Look for the weather to be misty and muggy for the next several days although freshening trade winds will cool things off a bit, according to the National Weather Service.
A high pressure system north of the islands will keep the trades blowing, forecasters said. But the trades are also pushing a band of unstable clouds over the Islands, resulting in widespread showers across the state this morning.
The showers should taper off later in the day as the cloud band moves away. The high-pressure system should produce breezy trades through tomorrow, with even stronger winds over the high mountain summits.
A low-pressure system is due in Friday and is expected to weaken the trades while increasing the chances of rain.
Following is a day-by-day breakdown:
Today, partly cloudy. Scattered showers in the morning, then isolated showers in the afternoon. Highs 80 to 87. East winds 15 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 40 percent.
