Three hurt in Waipahu accident, one critically

A single-car accident today in Waipahu sent three people to area hospitals, including a 16-year-old boy who is in critical condition, according to the city Emergency Services Department.The accident occurred at 8:37 a.m. at the corner of Ikepono and Awamoi Street. Two people were taken to St. Francis West with undisclosed injuries and the teen was taken to The Queen's Medical Center in critical condition.
