Business briefs: Hawaiian Air holds job fair today

Hawaiian Airlines is holding a job fair starting at 12:30 p.m. today at the Hawaii Convention Center to recruit flight attendants for the airlines' new transpacific flights.

Starting Sept. 6 Hawaiian will expand its daily nonstop San Diego-Maui route to year-round service from summer-only service. On Oct. 13 Hawaiian will increase both its nonstop Seattle-Maui and Portland-Maui flights to daily service, resulting in seven new flights per week between Maui and to the Pacific Northwest's gateway cities.

Beginning Nov. 19, Hawaiian will add four weekly flights to its nonstop Sacramento-Honolulu daily service, increasing to11 the total number of weekly flights. That same day, Hawaiian will expand its Seattle-Honolulu service with three additional flights per week, bringing to 10 the total number of weekly flights on that route.

ResortQuest finishes Aston Honolulu Prince Hotel renovation

ResortQuest Hawaii has completed a $380,000 renovation of guest rooms at the Aston Honolulu Prince Hotel in Waikiki.

Renovations to the hotel's 119 guest rooms include new furnishings, drapes, carpets and art. The hotel's lobby and front desk reception area will also be renovated by the end of the year. "Best Daily Rates" at the Aston Honolulu Prince begin at $73 nightly for a hotel room, $140 nightly for a one-bedroom suite, and $176 nightly for a two-bedroom suite.
