By David Waite

A weather system north of the Islands will keep the trade winds blowing through early next week, but they will decrease some by the middle of the week.

And when the trades blow, they typically bring windward and mauka showers with them, which will be the case over the next few days.

The shower activity should peak tomorrow, although nothing heavy is expected, and will begin to slow on Sunday.
