More than 16,000 renew UH football tickets

More than 16,000 season ticket have been renewed for the 2006 University of Hawaii football season, the school announced Friday.New season-ticket sales begin June 26.
Fans also can purchase tickets online at HawaiiAthletics.com via UH's new digital ticket system.
Beginning in August, the new system will allow season-ticket holders to transfer and sell their tickets online. Game tickets can be e-mailed to friends and family members, who can print them from their personal computers.
Fans can also purchase season tickets by going to the Stan Sheriff Box Office Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. or call 944-2697 during the same hours.
UH opens its home season Sept. 16 against Nevada-Las Vegas. The home schedule also includes games against Purdue (Nov. 25) and Oregon State (Dec. 2).
