High surf advisory cancelled
Advertiser Staff
The National Weather Service has cancelled a high surf advisory for the south shores of O'ahu today that had called for 8-foot wave faces. Instead, it reports that wave faces will be in the 4- to 6-foot face range today, and should decrease by tomorrow. Sandy Beach waves will be in the 3- to 5-foot range today due to slightly above normal trade winds. North Shore waves will remain small, in the 1- to 3-foot range, over the weekend. Water temperatures will continue to be in the upper 70-degree range.
