Four Hawai'i golfers advance in Women's Publinx

Hawai'i golfers went 4 for 4 Thursday in the opening round of match play in the 30th Women's Amateur Public Links Championship at Pueblo, Colo.In the round of 64:
Mari Chun, of Pearl City, defeated Tamasin Clelland of New Zealand, 6 and 5
Kimberly Kim, of Hilo, defeated Anya Sarai Alvarez, of Tulsa, Okla., 7 and 6
Amanda Wilson, of Hilo, defeated Melanie DeLeon, of Santa Clarita, Calif., 4 and 3
Stephanie Kono, of Honolulu, defeated Kelly Jacques, of Longmont, Colo., 4 and 2.
The rounds of 32 and 16 will be played Friday at the Walking Stick Golf Course.
