What's the biggest issue related to growth in Hawai'i: housing, traffic, tourism or waste?

"We need more affordable housing for all different income levels. People in (my) age group work hard; we go to work every day and we're priced out."

Nani Medeiros
34, Kaimuki

"The amount of time that people waste in their lives sitting in traffic to get to where they need to go for their job. ... It's a drain on the economy, it's a drain on our families and it's a drain on our lifestyle."

Ron Boyer
47, Makakilo

"Waste. We only have so much space. What are we going to do with it all? We're not dealing with (waste) efficiently."

Gavin Kennedy
27, Makiki

"They need to take care of the people who are here now. People living here have to move away just to afford rent. It's aiming and catering to the people who have high incomes. What happens to the people who are not rich and not able to get a high-paying job?"

Sandra Tory
21, Pearl City

"Traffic, because it concerns me directly. I leave an hour before work. It's a big problem, especially for those commuting to town."

Ryan Lorenzo
28, 'Aiea

"I think we have enough (housing), but it's just unaffordable."

Mary Ann Garcia
25, Kalihi

"Traffic. I guess we got no choice; it's overpopulated. I think it would be best if we do have (a rail transit system)."

Richard Valdez
60, Nu'uanu

"Actually, none of the above. There's no land. People have to remember this is only an island. There's not enough land for everyone."

Portia Okamoto
60, Kailua
