Sunset on the Beach returns to Queen's Surf Beach this weekend with food booths, entertainment and movies on that really big screen.

Tonight's feature, in honor of the Scottish Festival at Kapi'olani Park is "Local Hero," starring Peter Reigert as an American who tries to broker a deal between a small Scottish town and an oil company. Burt Lancaster also stars. Lovely soundtrack by Mark Knopfler.

Tomorrow's movie is the slapstick "The Pink Panther," starring Steve Martin as the bumbling detective on a murder case.

Sunset on the Beach festivals begin at 4 p.m.; the films are screened after the sun goes down, about 7:30 p.m. Admission is free. 923-1094.
