Love-a-Cat Month's special offers worth mighty meows

If it's June, it must be ... Love-a-Cat Month at the Hawaiian Humane Society. That means:

If you buy a special Adopt-a-Cat T-shirt at Crazy Shirts at Ala Moana or Pearlridge Center, you get a free coupon for a microchip, which would be implanted in your feline friend for ID purposes.

Adopt a cat and receive free cat food and a cat toy in addition to kitty sterilization, microchip and vaccination. The adoption fee is $55 for one kitten or two adult cats.

And don't forget: Friday is the deadline to submit photos of your pet pals for inclusion in the 2007 Pets in Paradise calendar. It's $15 per photo.
