A high-pressure system north of the Islands will keep the trade winds blowing and the weather sunny and dry for the most part through the end of the work week and into the weekend , according to the National Weather Service.
What few showers that might develop will be very light and limited to the windward side, forecasters said.
The high-pressure system is expected to hang around for the next several days, keeping the trades on the medium setting or even medium-high in some areas. The trades and a dry and stable air mass will continue moving in over the next several days.
