Families of Kaloko reservoir vicitms file lawsuit

The families of the seven people killed during the Kaloko reservoir breach in March have filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the landowners.The suit was filed this morning in the fifth ciruit court of Kaua'i against James H. Pflueger, Pflueger Properties, Pflueger Management L.L.C., Pflueger Partners, and Carroll S. Taylor as trustee of the Mary N. Lucas Trust.
The suit alleges the breach was caused by illegal grading and seeks unspecified damages.
