Pleasant weather forecast through the Fourth

The weather this weekend and on into the Fourth of July holiday should be downright pleasant, according to the National Weather Service.

Expect a mostly sunny day today with minimal rain showers restricted primarily to the mountain areas.

The brisk trade winds and mostly dry weather will continue through the weekend and into the coming week, forecasters said.

Following is the day-by-day outlook:

  • Today, mostly sunny. Highs 78 to 86. East winds 10 to 20 mph.

  • Tonight, mostly clear. Lows 69 to 78. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph.

  • Tomorrow, partly cloudy. Highs 80 to 87. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph.

  • Tomorrow night, partly cloudy with isolated showers. Lows 65 to 76. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

  • Sunday, partly cloudy with isolated showers in the morning, then mostly sunny in the afternoon. Highs 81 to 88. East winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

  • Sunday night, partly cloudy with isolated showers. Lows 67 to 77. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

  • Monday, partly cloudy with isolated showers in the morning, then mostly sunny in the afternoon. Highs 81 to 87. East winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

  • Monday night, partly cloudy. Lows 66 to 77. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph.
