Advertiser Staff

Hawaii's newest interisland airline, go!, today launched nonstop service between Honolulu and Hilo.

Go!, a division of Mesa Air Group Inc., added five roundtrip flights a day between the two cities, with a sixth flight to be added July 14. With the additions, go! now offers 62 daily flights with service between Honolulu and Lihue, Kahului, Kona, and Hilo.

"I am heartened that go! has kept to its word and has started service to Hilo," Sen. Lorraine Inouye, D-1st (Hamakua, S. Hilo), said in a written statement. "The added competition has helped make interisland travel more affordable for our residents and will encourage visitors to visit the island of Hawaii," she added.
