O'ahu home, condo sales fall in February

Sales of existing single-family homes and condos on O'ahu fell in February for the fifth consecutive month compared with a year earlier.The median price for a single-family home edged lower to $613,500 from $615,000 in January, but was up from $525,500 a year earlier. Condominiums prices reached a record high, $315,000 according to the O'ahu Board of Realtors. The median condo price was $295,000 in January and $235,000 a year earlier.
A total of 248 single-family homes were sold in February, down from 266 a year earlier. Condo sales totaled 487, down from 525 a year earlier.
