UCLA's Sealy hired as UH women's volleyball associate coach

Mike Sealy will join the University of Hawai'i-Manoa women's volleyball coaching staff as associate coach, replacing Charlie Wade, the school announced today.

Sealy, 35, has been an assistant with the UCLA men's team the past four seasons, doubling as an assistant with the women's team in 2005, UH said.

Wade left UH last month after 11 seasons to become head coach at the University of Pacific.

Sealy's main responsibilities will be recruiting, scouting, training and video operations, UH said.

Sealy was an All-American setter for UCLA and helped lead the Bruins to the 1993 NCAA Championship, where he was named co-outstanding player of the tournament.
