U2 concert postponed

The announcement was made today by promoters of U2's current Vertigo tour and affect the final 10 dates of the tour, including Honolulu.
Greg Terlizzi, a spokesman for concert promoter Live Nation, said an immediate family member of someone in the band has fallen ill, and he advised ticketholders to hold on to tickets in anticipation of a new show date.
Concerts in New Zealand, Australia, Japan and Hawaii are affected by the postponement.
The Honolulu concert's postponement is noted on the promoter's Web site: www.livenation.com.
