Waters force road closures on O'ahu

The Kaneohe-bound lane of the highway near the Punalu'u Stream in Punalu'u has been temporarily closed while crews work to free debris that has clogged the stream, which has been rising because of today's rains.
The Kaneohe-bound lane near Kahana Bay also is shut down while crews work to clear debris caught in a channel that runs near the road.
Both patches of road are expected to be reopened shortly.
