Salvation Army sets up mobile emergency unit

The Salvation Army will set up an emergency mobile canteen in the Hauula Kai area to help Windward residents affected by the ongoing heavy rains and flooding.The canteen is set to open at 3 p.m. in Tamura's Market in the Hauula Kai Shopping Center. Salvation Army staff and volunteers will hand out food bags, tarps, blankets, clothing vouchers and other basic necessities.
Another canteen will be operated 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday through Monday at Kualoa Ranch Park.
