Hawai'i wins second game of doubleheader

Mark Rodrigues pitched six strong innings, and Matt Inouye drove in three runs, to help Hawai'i beat Western Illinois, 7-1, Saturday to complete a doubleheader sweep at Les Murakami Stadium.

Rodrigues (2-1) gave up a run, six hits and three walks with no strikeouts in the scheduled seven-inning game. Freshman Jayson Kramer pitched a perfect seventh inning.

The Rainbows improved to 16-6, while the Leathernecks dropped to 2-12.

Inouye drove in runs with a bases loaded walk in the first, an RBI single in the third, and sacrifice fly in the fourth.
