ALA WAI CLEANUP — The Sierra Club will clear debris from the Ala Wai Small Boat Harbor on Saturday. Meet at 8 a.m. at the harbor master's office. Bring sturdy shoes, hat, thick rubber gloves, sunscreen, water. Call Deborah Blair at 955-4168.

POUHALA MARSH — The Hawai'i Nature Center is cleaning and restoring the wetland habitat in Pearl Harbor. Volunteers are needed to pull pickle weed and mangrove 8:30-11:30 a.m. Saturday. WEED WARRIORS — Student volunteers age 14 and older can help Maui Invasive Species Committee survey and control invasive weed populations, learn scientific protocol and aid conservation efforts.
