Expectant rains put O'ahu under flood advisory

Heavy rains are expected to hit O'ahu this afternoon and the island remains under an urban and small stream flood advisory until 5:45 p.m.At 2:45 p.m., the National Weather Service reported moderate to heavy rain near Punalu'u and Hau'ula. Additional showers are expected to move onshore from the south and head north across O'ahu, the weather service said.
The advisory includes the following communities: Honolulu, 'Aiea, Pearl City, Waipahu, 'Ewa, Mililani, Hale'iwa, Wai'anae, Waialua, Kahuku, Punalu'u, Kane'ohe and Kailua.
