Mid-Pacific holds off Damien in baseball

Adam Tamashiro had a double and drove in two runs and Jordan Okamura went 2 for 3 as Mid-Pacific held off Damien, 6-5, in the Interscholastic League of Honolulu baseball opener for both teams at Mid-Pacific field.

Austin Sloan relieved starter Jared Hara and earned the victory. Kase Kaneko got the save.
