Airlines sign code share pact

Hawaiian Airlines and Northwest Airlines said they signed an exclusive code share agreement for air travel within Hawai'i. HawaiianMiles members can earn frequent flier miles on Northwest flights and redeem miles for flights on Northwest. Members of Northwest's WorldPerks frequent flier program will earn 500 miles for interisland flights on Hawaiian.


A&B PROPERTIES OFFERS 60 UNITS

A&B Properties Inc. will begin accepting reservations from Kaua'i residents to purchase lot and home packages in its 60-unit single family home development at Port Allen called Keala'ula. The project includes a variety of three-bedroom, two-bathroom homes on lots that average 6,000 square feet.

NEW MANAGER FOR WINDOWS

SEATTLE — Microsoft Corp. announced a major shake-up yesterday in its Windows division, just 48 hours after it disappointed consumers and PC makers with a delay of its next operating system, Windows Vista.

The Redmond, Wash., software giant promoted a longtime manager of Microsoft Office, Steven Sinofsky, to take the helm of planning for future versions of Windows.
