Severe thunderstorms threatening Lana'i

Severe thunderstorms are threatening Lana'i and the National Weather Service Honolulu could issue a warning if the weather pattern holds.There's a line of strong storms moving toward Maui County that will most likely strike Lana'i the hardest with high winds and heavy rains, said Kevin Kodama, hydrologist for the weather service.
The severe storms are not likely to hit Maui but both islands will have heavy rains, he said.
