UH clinches MPSF volleyball tournament berth

In Stockton, Calif., the University of Hawai'i volleyball team beat host Pacific, 30-21, 30-21, 30-19, Monday to clinch a berth in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation's postseason tournament.It was the Warriors' 13th consecutive victory.
The Warriors improved to 17-4 overall and 13-3 in the MPSF. The Tigers fell to 7-15 and 5-11.
The Warriors, who are in second place, needed to win at least one game in Monday's match to earn a berth in the eight-team postseason tournament.
The Warriors complete this road trip with matches against Stanford tomorrow and Thursday.
