Kamehameha Highway reopened near Waipo Gentry

Advertiser Staff

Kamehameha Highway has been reopened to traffic between Ka Uka Boulevard in Waipio Gentry and Lanikuhana Avenue in Mililani.

That stretch of the highway was shutdown last night about 9 p.m. after a water main burst triggering a mud slide.

Morning rush-hour traffic on the highway was rerouted onto the H2 Freeway, adding to the peak hour congestion on the freeway.
