UH women in NCAA water polo championship

The University of Hawai'i women's water polo team received one of the three at-large berths to the NCAA Championship May 12-14 at the Schaal Aquatics Center at University of California, Davis.UH finished second in last week's Mountain Pacific Sports Federation tournament, losing to Stanford, 6-3, in the final.
The team that UH defeated in the semifinal, USC, received the No. 1 seed in the NCAA tournament.
USC is 25-2. Stanford (22-4) got the No. 2 seed.
UH (17-10) got the fourth seed and will play host UC Davis (20-11) 4:30 p.m. Hawai'i time on May 12.
