O'ahu median home price falls in April from March

The median price for existing single-family homes and condominiums on O'ahu fell in April from March as the volume of sales continued to slow, the Honolulu Board of Realtors said today.The median price for a single-family home fell to $615,000 from $650,000 in March, although it remained above the April 2005 price of $545,000. The median price for a condominium fell to $296,500, down from $312,000 in March, but up from $243,000 a year ago.
A total of 332 single-family homes were sold in April, down from 418 the same month a year ago. Condominium sales totaled 584 in April, down from 754 a year earlier.
