BE A SUMMER BUDDY

AMERICAN RED CROSS, HAWAI'I CHAPTER

How are you spending your summer? Join our Summer Buddies Teen Leadership Volunteer Program and learn life-saving skills, help our water safety instructors teach children to swim, earn community-service hours, make new friends and have fun. Saturday mornings, June 3-August 12, 8:15 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

    COMMUNITY WORK DAY ON THE PONDS — MOLOKA'I

    KHM INTERNATIONAL

    Ka Honua Momona, in conjunction with Kamiloloa One Ali'i Homestead Association, is hosting a Community Work Day on the Ponds every third Saturday of the month. We invite anyone to come out, including but not limited to homesteaders, members of the greater Moloka'i community, Hawaiians visiting from other islands, tourists, school groups, church groups, youth groups, etc.

    SPECIAL OLYMPICS HAWAI'I

    Do you want to do something fun and meaningful, and get a chance to see excellent sports competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports, such as softball, swimming, power lifting and track & field? Well, here is your chance! Special Olympics Hawaii is recruiting volunteers to assist in the setup, running and teardown for our 2006 state Summer Games to be held in late May.
