Crowds cheer Waikiki military parade

A huge throng of spectators lined both sides of Kalakaua Avenue this morning to show their appreciation for some 5,000 members of all branches of the military who had fought in conflicts from World War II through the Korean, Vietnam and the Gulf wars.Following the parade, service members and spectators alike were treated to a free Concert and Family Fun Festival at Kapi'olani Park.
