Not too wet, not too breezy and not too hot.

That's how the weather for this week is shaping up, according to the National Weather Service.

The lone exception is the Big Island, which could see increased shower activity over windward areas this morning and a slight chance of thunderstorms over the Kona slopes later this afternoon.

But what forecasters like to call "typical trade wind weather"should prevail today from Kauai through Maui, forecasters said.

Here's the breakdown for Oahu for the first half of the week:

Today, partly cloudy, with scattered showers in the morning and isolated showers in the afternoon. Highs 78 to 84. East winds 10 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 50 percent.

Tonight, partly cloudy with isolated showers. Lows 65 to 70. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Tomorrow, partly cloudy with isolated showers. Highs 78 to 84. East winds 15 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Tomorrow night, mostly clear in the evening then becoming partly cloudy. Isolated showers. Lows 65 to 70. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Wednesday, partly cloudy with isolated showers. Highs 78 to 84. East winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20
