Sunny day, isolated showers in forecast

If you like today's weather, you'll probably enjoy the rest of the week as well, with the National Weather Service calling for cookie-cutter days and nights.

The trade winds are back and are making for enjoyable weather.

Specifically, the forecast calls for partly sunny skies with occasional windward and mauka showers.

The day-by-day breakdown is:

Today, partly cloudy early in the morning then becoming mostly sunny with Isolated showers. Highs 78 to 84. East winds 15 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Tonight, mostly clear in the evening then becoming partly cloudy with Isolated showers. Lows 65 to 70. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Tomorrow, partly cloudy with isolated showers. Highs 78 to 84. East winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Tomorrow night, partly cloudy with isolated showers. Lows 65 to 70. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Thursday, partly cloudy with isolated showers. Highs 78 to 84. East winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

The only change on the horizon? The trades should drop off some over the latter part of the upcoming weekend to about 10 mph.
