Apple in talks for new store at Kahala Mall

By Andrew Gomes
Advertiser Staff Writer

Apple Computer Inc. is negotiating to open a second company-owned retail store in Hawai'i, The Advertiser has learned.

The company, which opened its first local Apple Store at Ala Moana Center three years ago, is having discussions to lease space at Kahala Mall.

Ron Yoda, Kahala Mall general manager, confirmed discussions with Apple but said no lease has been signed. An official with the computer maker could not be reached for comment this morning.
