Kai scores lone goal in win over Japan

Former University of Hawai'i soccer standout Natasha Kai scored the lone goal in the United States' 1-0 win over Japan today in the second game of a two-game tour of Japan.

Kai scored in the 65th minute on an assist from Kristine Lilly, who chipped the ball to Kai at the far post. Kai headed the ball in from four yards away. It was Kai's third career international goal in her fifth career match.

Kai entered the game in the 55th minute.

The USA returns home tomorrow and resumes its Residency Training Camp on Friday at The Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif., according to ussoccer.com.
