Advertiser Staff

Two O'ahu men who were among 19 people indicted by a federal grand jury in California in connection with a methamphetamine- and cocaine-trafficking ring will be sent to California to face trial on the charges.

Federal Magistrate Judge Kevin Chang also ordered Cenon R. Polintan, 32, of Waipahu, and Hiliaumeniueva Tokotaha, 24, of Honolulu, held without bail. Both men waived challenges to the transfer of their cases to the northern district of California.

Federal authorities said the drug organization operated primarily in San Mateo and San Francisco.
