Two injured in Royal Kunia crash

Advetiser Staff

ALERT: Police, fire and city paramedics have responded to a head-on collision at the intersection of Kunia Road and Anonui Street near the Royal Kunia subdivision. Two people who were injured in the crash have been taken to The Queen's Medical Center. One, a 20-year-old man, is reported to be in serious condition. Another, a 19-year-old man, has minor injuries, according to emergency officials.

The crash site is in the same area where four women were killed last month in a head-on collision between a concrete delivery truck and a pickup truck that was carrying the four women.

ALERT: A large school bus is reported stalled inside the Wilson Tunnel in the town-bound right lane of Likelike Highway.

Traffic is moving well enough for a Wednesday morning with no major accidents or incidents to report.

Slowdowns are occurring in the usual areas, including the area where the H-1 and H-2 Freeways merge, the Middle Street merge and the Kokohead overpass coming in from East Oahu.

Traffic is very slow going through Pearl City but it lightens up some in 'Aiea.
