UH QB Brennan is preseason WAC player of year

University of Hawai'i quarterback Colt Brennan was selected as the offensive preseason Player of the Year and three other Warriors were named to the preseason all-Western Athletic Conference football team by The Sporting News.Joining Brennan, who led the nation in passing yardage (4,301), touchdown passes (35) and total offense (371.2 yards per game) last season, are receiver Davone Bess, tackle Tala Esera and defensive end Ikaika Alama-Francis. Bess led WAC in catches per game (7.42).
