Chuck Greenfield, executive director for Legal Services of Northern Virginia, has been named executive director of the Legal Aid Society of Hawai'i.

Greenfield was chosen after a four-month search to replace Victor Geminiani, who left the position last December, the Legal Aid Society of Hawai'i said.

Greenfield served in the Virginia position for seven years. He also worked for nine years as directing attorney and litigation director for the Micronesian Legal Services Corporation.
