Typical trade wind morning in forecast

Today's National Weather Service forecast calls for "a typical trade wind morning across the state."

Light showers are expected to remain primarily in the windward and mauka areas.

A weather system to the north of the Islands will keep moderate trades blowing through tomorrow but they will likely diminish during the weekend.

Detailed forecasts for Oahu are as follow:

Today, partly cloudy with isolated showers. Highs 78 to 84. East winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Tonight, partly cloudy with isolated showers. Lows 65 to 70. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Tomorrow, partly cloudy with isolated showers. Highs 78 to 84. East winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Tomorrow night, partly cloudy with isolated showers. Lows 65 to 72. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Saturday, mostly sunny with isolated showers. Highs 78 to 84. East winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Saturday night, mostly clear. Lows 65 to 72. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph.

Sunday, mostly sunny in the morning then becoming partly cloudy. Isolated showers. Highs 78 to 84. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.
