The hostess jumped out of the customer's car and began to run away when the witness told her to get into another car and locked the doors with the hostess inside. Police were told that the customer tried to get at the hostess inside the parked car but could not.

Police arrived at the scene and arrested the customer about 10:50 p.m. on suspicion of kidnapping, attempting to flee the scene of a motor vehicle collision and attempted unlawful entry into a motor vehicle.
