TONIGHT'S MUST-SEE

"Keith Barry: Extraordinary," 7 p.m., CBS. Keith Barry is a young Irish magician, still in his 20s, who has caught on quickly. He had a series in Ireland that reportedly went to 28 countries. Then his "Brainwashed" special was a ratings success on MTV. Now he has a deal that includes corporate partners CBS and MTV. In this network special, Barry does some broad tricks — inducing memory loss, risking $1 million on a card trick, driving a car blindfolded. He also does some close-up magic with celebrities watching. Showing up in this hour are Jessica Simpson, Wilmer Valderrama, Elijah Woods, Matthew McConaughey, Eve, Nicollette Sheridan, Vivica A. Fox and more.

OF NOTE

"Legally Blonde 2: Red White & Blonde" (2003), 7 p.m., Fox. The original movie was surprising fun with Reese Witherspoon as an air-headed sorority girl who conquers Harvard Law School. This sequel, however, tended to draw shrugs. Witherspoon goes to Washington to plead an animal-rights issue. The cast includes Sally Field, Bob Newhart and Luke Wilson.

"Close to Home," 8 p.m., CBS. The only witness to a murder is the victim's sister, an alcoholic with a history of lying and mental issues.

"Las Vegas," 8 p.m., NBC. The wedding day is coming for one of the show's women, following last week's proposal. First come wild bachelor and bachelorette parties. All of the key guest stars will be there, including Jerry O'Connell (Sam's guy), Dean Cain (Mary's) and Shawn Christian (Delinda's). Two members of Sugarland, Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush, will perform.

"Conviction," 9 p.m., NBC. Steele has trouble on a rape case because the plaintiff's father is belligerent. Potter bungles an easy case, Desmond deals with an odd fortune-teller and Cabot throws a fancy engagement party.

"Numb3rs," 9 p.m., CBS. The bodies of four Asian women are washed ashore and one woman is still alive at sea. One of the corpses has the bird-flu virus.

"Monk," 10 p.m., USA Network. In a rerun, the captain is sent to anger-management class after slugging a cop who said he's having an affair with his wife.
