Pet owners, we know where you'll be this weekend: at the Hawaii Pet Expo 2006, themed "Fitness Unleashed," at the Blaisdell Exhibition Hall, where you'll find vendors of all sorts, crafters and many tempting treats for those four-legged critters.

Among the other attractions: Parade of Cats, 11:30 a.m. today; Urban Search and Rescue K9 Unit demo, noon today; household cat show, 2 p.m. today; Bark Busters of Hawaii demo, 10:30 a.m. tomorrow; Hawaiian Kennel Club puppy match, noon tomorrow.

And there's free advice at the Ask-a-Vet booth, a petting zoo and informational/educational stuff, too.

Expo hours are from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today and tomorrow. Admission is free, but bring canned goods to donate the the Hawaii Foodbank. Pets are welcome, too, but dogs must be leashed and under their owners' control at all times. 845-1762.
